I have had a session every day since the 4th so I haven’t had time to edit the 297 images I took over our holiday weekend. Don’t worry though, I am not sharing all 297!
We spend the 3rd at Mike’s Fraternity brothers place on the water every year. This year I vowed to enjoy myself and soak up as much as I could of the kids being small (since they are growing so fast) so I only took a handful of pictures. I am totally fine with it too!
Upon arriving the social butterfly (aka. Tess) has to say hi to everyone and give some high fives. Her she is with Uncle Cory! She totally cracks everyone up! She has so much personality!
This is Tess trying like he!! to turn me into a frog with her magic glow wand!
And Jake with a little magic (kung fu style) wand action! Later I caught Tess enjoying some time on the hammock. I love the light in this shot! So glad I snapped it!
On the 4th we headed over to Mike’s boss’ house for a wonderful day on the water. It was warmer and the kids were able to do some swimming/digging in the dirt. I was so happy they were able to get some use out of the patriotic swimsuits I had bought for them!!!!
Jake loved swimming out to the raft and jumping off. Getting up onto it was another story!!!
She thought about going in so we put the life jacket on her. But she decided she preferred to be a beach babe (literally!) Really I don’t think she wanted to give up the toys!
Nana, Julie and Mike hanging out and my feet. (proof I was there and also, my toes looked so cute how could I not!)
Mike and his best bud Glen BS’ing (and drinking!) and Dan the Man (aka. the Boss Man!) He sure grills up some mean ribs!!!! YUM!
Tess and Nana hanging out.
The boys did some fishing and Tess kicked dirt around for awhile and looked for fireworks!
Fishing!
The two buggers! They almost look sweet here except I know that they were at each others throats (literally!)
Dan lives on a private pond and all the residents light off fireworks all the way around it. It is really amazing! Here are the guys getting their fireworks display ready.
And my favorite two images from across the lake. I didn’t take a lot of firework pictures because I was too busy enjoying them with Tess curled up in my lap.
It was a wonderful holiday and two wonderful parties. Thanks so much to everyone for your generous hospitality.
